Video Making Process (5)
96) I added question 2 of the interview (How can dress help us? ) before introducing the 7 most common symbols seen in our dreams + stretch adjustment to cut the part where I am asking the question.
97) Added the white background footage to write the question as a text and placed it before the answer (will do this for all the questions)
98) Used 'reveal' effect, removed- used 'zoom' effect (Baskerville font, 115 size, black color with border)
99) Stabilizing video movement + separation of audio and video
100) Lowered volume of the clips to the maximum + reduced background noise by 100% + audio effect 'small room'
101) Stretch adjustment of footage and audio + I decided to move the 2nd interview question after the part of the video that discusses Lucid Dreaming because it was interrupting a flow of explanation in the previous position. I thought this place would be more relevant.
103) Text effect 'zoom' with writing (Are just the outcome of random brain activity or perhaps have a deeper meaning?) + Baskerville font, black color with border, size 115
104) Finally, I added Q.1 after the footage illustrating RBD, I added the white footage to write the question first, followed by the text and then the interview clip.
105) Text: Why can we remember some dreams and can't remember others?, Baskerville + border font, black, 115 size
106) Added interview clip, separated audio from footage, stretch adjustment - while cutting the video the footage and the audio were cut differently so I repeated the process.
107) Decreased volume of other clips + reduced the noise background to 100% + more stretch adjustment
108) I went back to the beginning of the video and delete all of the audio clips except the interview ones) because there was a noticeable difference in voice tone so I decided to recorded the audio again all at the same time so there would be a more similar tone of voice. In addition, I added some background information one Freud when I introduce him as suggested, so I needed to add this information too. I deleted the enigmatic sound clips as well so I could place one continuous
clip of music
109) I added the continuous enigmatic music and continued to stabilize the camera movement of the interview clips
110) I started recording the first 3 the audio parts. Along the way, I noticed that the 2 footage I shot still had the volume on so I decreased it to 0%
111) I went back and started adjusting the footage so that it would match the audio
112) I divided the first audio into 2 parts because the first part was an introduction, while the second part was the beginning of the video and they were divided from the video title
113) I recorded the second part again because the information was told to fast.
114) An extra footage was added because I added information about Freud, so picked an drawing of him with a patient and placed it as I briefly introduced him + I used the Ken Burns effect on this footage
115) I decided to add another footage because duration of the footage with the Ken Burns effect wasn't long enough to fill the information. In the screen recording you can see that I have added the footage but then delete it. I did this for 2 reasons:
1. The image was mainly horizontal and it did not fully fit the shot, even though I did this with one of my own footage, I think this image does not have to seem real or spontaneous
2. The theme didn't quite match the theme so I decided to pick another image that resembled the theme
116) At first, I cropped to fill the shot, but then I used the Ken Burn effect + increased saturation and slightly increased highlights
117) Stretch adjustment on the next footage + velocity adjustment, first fast then tried to personalize a few times. I have worked on it outside of the recording and fixed it.
119) Reached the rest of the footage I shot and tried to match the audio with the footage by slowing down and increasing the footage speed, however with both effects, the movement didn't resemble an effect of RBD so I decided to maintain its natural speed
120) I continued recording + stretch adjustment
