Software Research
The digital software I chose to use for my project is I Movie.
After a couple of inconveniences, iMovie seemed to be the best option for my video because it is easy, it has enough good tools to use and it includes many types title effects which were very important for my type of project.
I alreday used iMovie in other projects before so it was quite simple to manage, however there were some tools which I wasn't sure of

I used the internet to find the correct terms regarding the color tools so that I could explain the process properly and accurately. This screenshot was made from the Apple website and it illustrates the various terms that I used throughout the editing.
As mentioned before, iMovie has many title/text effects- 48 in total, I used about 6 different types or title effects maybe even more. There were also a good amount of font types.
Transitions are also very popular in iMovie -24 transitions. I didn't use transitions for my project, but they can be useful for other projects.
There were several audio effects as well. (I used only 1 type)
There were many color filters as well, however I do not like using filters, I prefer using correction tools because they emphasize more on detail
Overall, I would say that iMovie's strength was titles and texts although, it had basic options for color correction which is a drawback.
Some good commentary here on the different tools from Imovie. What do you think are some of the limitations of Imovie, if any? How is it different from more professional software like Premiere Pro? Although Imovie is very suitable for your current project, it would be good to consider its downsides for future projects.
