Reflection on Blog

This Blog has been the showcase of all the work I have done for my Digital Arts module for this term. In the first few weeks I did not fully understand all of the steps that needed to be posted probably because I was unfamiliar with this module so in every post I received commentary that I needed more detail and that the writing wasn't enough. Overtime I got used to the way it worked and clearly understood that I needed initial ideas, process, research and reflection for all my work. I tried to keep up with the amount of 3 blogposts per week so I could receive feedback and eventually have time to change something without getting to the final weeks and having loads of work to complete.
I think I have done quite a lot of research and learnt from it. One thing I improved with time is the reflection and showing critical commentary.

Overall I believe my blogposts have all the information they require

Last Tuesday, scrolling down my Instagram feed, I see Prada posting on Instagram a series of videos titled as Multiple Views in chapters from 1-5. These short films were created to showcase the Spring/Summer 2021 collection in a technologic and surreal way, how Miuccia Prada sees the world today- her vision for the "post-pandemic fashion market" (Madsen, 2020). Chapter 4 - Prada Multiple View Spring/Summer 2021 Chapter 4 was a obvious response to the world of today. Models were placed in different seating rows inside the theater due to social distancing with screens, mobiles, and virtual realty everywhere. Sequential photography made by me (individually)

My initial ideas on this task were to create a set of sequential images that had a deeper meaning compared to the set we created as classwork. I came up with the idea to shoot a set of sequential images whilst giving money to a man in need. I decided to place the action of giving the money halfway through the images because I wanted to create a sort of narrative within the images. In this way, I was able to show the difference in the man's expression before having the money and after having the money. As you can see below, I drew a storyboard sketch to demonstrate my initial idea. Blog Buddy

 I would like to introduce a new friend I just met, his name is Andrei and he is from Moscow. This is his second time enrolling in DMU since he studied English last year. He is 22 years old and  his progression route will be Film making. He enjoys watching movies and playing games on the computer. He chose Film Studies because he wishes to work in the Film industry, and is greatly inspired by Steven Spielberg.
