               Module: Media Project 1






As you can see below, these are the 20 ideas I came up with for my project. There are a few I find  interesting especially the ones focused on the mind such as dreams, memory or personality disorders.






The idea that grabs my attention the most is 'dreams'.
I have recently watched a video on why we dream and what they mean. I thought it was pretty interesting and maybe could create a video myself or write an article on the subconscious.

An article would be easier to complete, however a video would be more interesting especially on this topic.


  • Milanote planning:
These are the ideas I came up with until now.  I added 4 resources- 2 books from the DMU library and 2 online magazines. (will research more in the following week)

My inspiration came from an episode of 'The mind explained' on Netflix

    Please make sure you add the '20 ideas in 20 minutes' exercise to this blog post. You can also add a link to the video in this post. Please start developing these ideas further using software like 'Milanote' as discussed in class. If you would like to interview someone to get first-hand information, you could do this through Skype and use software like 'OBS' to record this and add in your video.

Last Tuesday, scrolling down my Instagram feed, I see Prada posting on Instagram a series of videos titled as Multiple Views in chapters from 1-5. These short films were created to showcase the Spring/Summer 2021 collection in a technologic and surreal way, how Miuccia Prada sees the world today- her vision for the "post-pandemic fashion market" (Madsen, 2020). Chapter 4 - Prada Multiple View Spring/Summer 2021 Chapter 4 was a obvious response to the world of today. Sequential photography made by me (individually)

My initial ideas on this task were to create a set of sequential images that had a deeper meaning compared to the set we created as classwork. I came up with the idea to shoot a set of sequential images whilst giving money to a man in need. I decided to place the action of giving the money halfway through the images because I wanted to create a sort of narrative within the images. In this way, I was able to show the difference in the man's expression before having the money and after having the money. As you can see below, I drew a storyboard sketch to demonstrate my initial idea.  I would like to introduce a new friend I just met, his name is Andrei and he is from Moscow. This is his second time enrolling in DMU since he studied English last year. He is 22 years old and  his progression route will be Film making. He enjoys watching movies and playing games on the computer. He chose Film Studies because he wishes to work in the Film industry, and is greatly inspired by Steven Spielberg.
