Flip book practice

I had a look at Yumpu today on how to create a flip book for my article.


  1. I began by creating an account on yumpu.com
  2. I pressed on the little cross sign next to my name on the right top corner.



 
3.  Click on 'select file to upload' must be a PDF .This option does not work at the moment because  I have used my 3 free practices but this is how I did it. I will create a new account for future use.




4. I have uploaded a PDF document found on my laptop and after a few seconds the document developed into a flip book.    


The file can then be downloaded as shown by the screenshot I took

    Good that you have practised with this software. I think it would be good to show how you would add the flip book to your website/portfolio page.

    As you are writing a feature news article, I do feel like a flip book might not be the best option to present your work. Please consider if adding the text directly onto your page with the images would present the work better. Please look at the links bellow as an example.

Last Tuesday, scrolling down my Instagram feed, I see Prada posting on Instagram a series of videos titled as Multiple Views in chapters from 1-5. These short films were created to showcase the Spring/Summer 2021 collection in a technologic and surreal way, how Miuccia Prada sees the world today- her vision for the "post-pandemic fashion market" (Madsen, 2020). Sequential photography made by me (individually)

My initial ideas on this task were to create a set of sequential images that had a deeper meaning compared to the set we created as classwork. I came up with the idea to shoot a set of sequential images whilst giving money to a man in need. I decided to place the action of giving the money halfway through the images because I wanted to create a sort of narrative within the images. In this way, I was able to show the difference in the man's expression before having the money and after having the money. As you can see below, I drew a storyboard sketch to demonstrate my initial idea. Blog Buddy

 I would like to introduce a new friend I just met, his name is Andrei and he is from Moscow. This is his second time enrolling in DMU since he studied English last year. He is 22 years old and  his progression route will be Film making. He enjoys watching movies and playing games on the computer.
