An overview and further development/ research of project idea
I have come up with a few aspects that could help me generate the focus of my article. The main idea of the article would be the changes in fashion caused by Covid-19. I have thought about the possible headline which is seen below, together with the issues that will be discussed.
1. The awareness of excess waste and need of sustainability that Covid has highlighted- rethinking industry, values and waste
2. Changed formats of fashion shows and difference in fashion collection- combination of seasons and and gender
3. Economic impact on garment workers and retailers + less consumer spending
I have read these 4 sources below that have helped me consider these factors
Intended audience:
Being a feature regarding fashion, I though that Vogue's audience might be my intended audience. However according to an analysis on Vogue found on UKEssays (2018), the audience represent wealthy women that want to know the latest trends and news of the fashion world. I am doubtful that these women would want to read about garment workers or the problem of retailers they would most probably only want to read about the changes in fashion shows.
Vogue Business, although seem to provide articles closer to my project. These are some front pages I found on its website. They have a mix of articles based on the latest fashion news and other articles that explore different facets of fashion such as sustainability. Vogue Business is describe as a leading source of information on how new technologies will shape the way products are developed, marketed and sold (Condé Nast, 2020). This suggests that Vogue Business covers more in depth the economic aspect and other aspects of the fashion we know.
My interviewee will be the founder of Italian luxury shoe brand called Benedetta Boroli.

Okay you have looked more closely into this and I am hoping that you really do your research to ask the right questions in your interview which will help you write your article - make sure you look at the writing style of these magazines and really analyse this for your intended audience. Then very clearly show your very specific research into article focus
