SMART objective

The project I will complete within the following 10 weeks will be a documentary video analyzing the concept of dreams among humans. This video will explore the nature of dreams, answering the questions- how they generate, why they generate and what do they mean. The video will be displayed on my digital portfolio (website) along with an introduction to it and it will last about 5 minutes.

I will use both copyright free images for example illustrating the brain while explaining a process, and footage of my own, for example a person sleeping.


Aims:
  • To improve digital skills using video software editing such as FinalCut 
  • To conduct a broad research and gather information from interviews with psychology students at universities
  • To create an unbiased informative video 
  • To use a correct combination of images and videos that will interest the audience

I will definitely create a project plan keeping track of the work I have to do every week since the creation of this project will require a long process. Once I get my project signed off I will create my project plan

    This is a good start on the SMART objective well done. I do feel like you could be more specific. How long will the documentary video be? How will you gather footage for the video? Are you going to use copyright free stock footage, or do you have your own footage? You could also discuss more in-depth how you hope to meet the deadline. Will you make a project plan to track your progress and reach your set goals and objectives? Please make sure you add your initial research as well. Has something similar been done before? What can you learn from this?

Sequential photography made by me (individually)

My initial ideas on this task were to create a set of sequential images that had a deeper meaning compared to the set we created as classwork. I came up with the idea to shoot a set of sequential images whilst giving money to a man in need. I decided to place the action of giving the money halfway through the images because I wanted to create a sort of narrative within the images. In this way, I was able to show the difference in the man's expression before having the money and after having the money. As you can see below, I drew a storyboard sketch to demonstrate my initial idea. Flip book practice

I had a look at Yumpu today on how to create a flip book for my article. I began by creating an account on yumpu.com I pressed on the little cross sign next to my name on the right top corner.   3.  Click on 'select file to upload' must be a PDF .This option does not work at the moment because  I have used my 3 free practices but this is how I did it. I will create a new account for future use. 4.
